Christmas Crafts

To get even more into the festive spirit, we had a Christmassy arts and crafts day yesterday with lots of Connie’s cousins. For the past few years we have always had an afternoon of gingerbread house making for Connie and her younger cousins Evie and Lily but this year we thought it was time to push the boat out!

We invited even more of Connie’s younger cousins to come and help make lots of festive things. She just loves being around them all and they all love playing with her. It wasn’t just Gingerbread Houses this year … we had Igloo Cake, Chocolate Orange Christmas Puddings and Reindeer Dust to make as well.  Connie absolutely loved it – but we were shattered by the end of it!

Connie has been extremely excited all morning today waiting to be picked up by her cousin Emma and head off to Hayes Garden Centre to see Santa! Connie isn’t always overly keen on meeting Father Christmas but she LOVES a Garden Centre so it was a straight answer of yes when we asked her if she wanted to go. It was an extra bonus that she gets to spend more time with her little cousins Gracie and Elsie!

We have one more extra special post coming before Christmas so please keep a look out for it! Thank you for reading – please like, share and comment 🙂
