Happy Birthday Mum!

Happy Birthday Mum! We couldn’t let today go past without writing a little post just to let everyone know how special our Mum is!

Every single day without fail, Mum is there for us. Whether it is to help us with work, get on at us for keeping things tidy in the house or to make us tea and make sure we are alright – just like most Mum’s right? But to see our Mum in action is to see something else – she does everything a ‘normal’ Mum does plus so much more within the world we live in of Connie. For nearly a year, with very few nights off, she has slept in the bed next to Connie to make sure she is okay, she has given Connie her medication, taken her to every appointment and made notes on every single thing that happens to Connie in the hope that we can get some answers. Connie takes up so much of Mum’s time yet she rarely complains about it and adding to that, she always makes time for the rest of us and also has the time to run an award winning charity that is changing the lives of disabled children, young adults and their families. Even though we try to help as much as we can, we know it takes a special sort of person to be able to cope and get through that along with everything else that life throws at you.

So today, on your birthday Mum, we thought we would shout out to the world (well our blog followers) about how special you are, how much we appreciate you and how much we love you. Every single one of us, including Dad, would be lost without you! We know your day will still be full of the normal everyday life that we all have to get on with but hopefully, we can still make it special for you. Happy Birthday Mum!

We would love if you could like, comment and share this post as far and wide as you can so that Mum can see just how far our appreciation goes!
